We had been looking for a smaller grab bar for our bathroom. We have a large on in our shower unit, but my husband will be having a shoulder replacement, so we wanted a smaller size to go next to the toilet. There simply isn't room for a 24" - 30" bar next to the toilet, so this 12" is perfect. It has an engraved pattern to cut down on slipperiness. It was extremely easy to install. It looks very nice, and has a strength to it that makes me feel comfortable that it will do its job.
This is really good to have.

I am really impressed with this grab bar. This anti-slip grab bar with textured grip is 12 inches in length by one and a quarter inch diameter. I ended up getting the shorter bar, but there is a longer one as well so be aware of that, and look at your dimensions.I broke my ankle really badly a few years ago, and so I am always worried that I am going to fall in our shower. My ankle was one of the worst breaks my doctor had ever seen, literally the trifecta of breaks and so I have a hard time in pulling myself up at times in the bathroom, toilet, and even in the bedroom at times. So really these grab bars are quite versatile, so don't limit them solely to the bathroom. The beautiful gold finish with the textured knurled surface matches my bathroom fixtures to the T . We are renovating our mid-century home, and have a lot of gold fixtures, so I was very happy to have found this color. The 304 stainless steel is rust proof, waterproof, and very heavyweight. The craftsmanship is excellent! The concealed screws allow for clean lines, and so it fits right in with our slick mid-century modern home look. I mean come on it's a grab bar, but you still want it to look a little stylish right lol?As stated early this grab bar can function for more than just the bathroom. You can use it to pull up in a variety of situations, so the functionality is very versatile. So overall, this installation was fairly easy. It took my husband and I about 20 minutes to install with a right angle bit ratchet. Now mind you, it was still a little bit tight, however, it does work. There is another thing I want to point out I feel it's very important to locate a stud if you can. If you want this grab bar to truly work and carry up to 500 pounds, you really want to make sure that it is tightly secured into a stud if you can. That's not to say you have to do it, but just remember it's only gonna be a strong as what it is screwed into.I really do highly recommend this grab bar. Not only is it easy on the eyes, it truly is very heavy duty, and also has a beautiful finish. I do want to point out, that it's more of a brushed gold than a bright gold so just be aware of that.
This stainless steel shower grab bar with a textured grip is great quality and well made, offering a sturdy hand-hold in the bathroom that gives peace of mind. The textured surface provides real confidence under wet, slippery conditions.I like how well the bar’s finish resists corrosion and looks sleek, making it suitable for bath tubs, shower stalls, toilet areas, or other spaces where extra support is needed. It’s especially valuable for anyone with mobility challenges or those who just want the added safety of a secure handrail.Installation was straightforward using proper anchoring into studs or reinforced wall backing. Once correctly mounted, the bar feels firmly fixed with no noticeable flex—just what you want when using a handrail for support.
Yes, I knew the size of this, but I was still not quite prepared for when I actually managed to locate the studs in the wall. I cannot imagine using only drywall anchors for something like this when safety is at stake. I ended up installing it vertically, and it works very well in that configuration. Installation was straight forward, and easy. This grab bar is very sturdy and well made. The texturing on it gives it a safe feeling grip, making it work out well for help while standing or sitting. It looks nice for a necessary piece of equipment in the bathroom.
